Palm Beach County Business Litigation Attorney

I have been practicing business law in Florida for nearly three decades. I am fourth-generation Floridian and third-generation member of The Florida Bar, allowing me to become much familiarized with the courts in the area.

Professionally, I believe that there is no more serious and important relationship than the attorney-client relationship. The trust reposed by a client upon his or her attorney is no different than the trust reposed by a patient upon his or her physician. Even if a legal matter requiring representation is not a matter of life or death, every matter deserves the full attention and competence of legal counsel.

Effective legal representation can absolutely make a difference in a client's quality of life, peace of mind, preservation of business interests and enforcement of contractual rights and legally enforceable obligations. Effective legal representation is a blend of legal knowledge and skill, good judgment and common sense.

At the outset of any prospective representation, I use my experience to make an initial determination if I can realistically achieve a meaningful result for the client. In a business litigation context, that question always means cost effective results. There is no such thing, based on my experience, as a client who doesn't care how much a business dispute will cost to litigate, even if the prospective client says "I don't care how much it costs." While the answer to the question, "Is it worth it?" is subjective, it is my responsibility, as a commercial litigator, to keep reminding the client of the question. In my experience, the core of every successful attorney and client relationship is communication.

When you entrust a stranger, whether it is a judge or a jury, to decide the dispute, there is always some degree of uncertainty. While a GPS can lead you directly from point A to point B, my clients rely on my legal directional skill to guide them away from a business dispute or guide them through it to a swift and satisfactory conclusion.
